Quanah is Chief Executive Officer of GrantVantage. With 27 years experience in grants, contracting, and public policy, she has served in executive leadership positions with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Quanah has designed, implemented, and managed a wide-range of social and economic development programs supporting domestic and international organizations and communities.
In 2002, Quanah was confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Commissioner for the Administration for Native Americans. She managed three national discretionary grant programs, administered a $24M development loan fund, invested $276M in social and economic development initiatives, and managed multiple technology, training, and technical assistance contracts.
In 2012, Quanah co-founded GrantVantage Inc. to meet the grant management needs of U.S. and international NGO’s, Tribes, states, and territorial governments. Quanah is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, sits on the boards of two national nonprofits, and holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
